REA Sells Former Howerton-Bryan Funeral Home Site
Real Estate Associates (REA) announces the sale of 1.447 acres at 1005 W. Main St. in downtown Durham, which is adjacent to the historic Brightleaf Square dining and retail complex. The property was previously owned and occupied by Howerton-Bryan funeral home.
The property sold for $4,075,000 on June 15, 2017. Gary W. Kramling, Carey Greene and Seth Jernigan represented the seller in the transaction. Charlotte apartment developer Terwilliger Pappas has started construction on the site for a 194-unit apartment building which will be known as Solis Brightleaf.
